I am sweating copper pipes and have 1 joint that continues to have a tiny bead of water when I turn the water back on. I have reheated and resweated but to no avail. Any tips?
may have to break down and take the joint apart so you can resand the mating surfaces ,,,to clean them well. put a little solder paste on it so it will take solder better. then resweat the joint. LJ
IM TRYING TO SWEAT COPPER PIPES TOGETHER FOR A WATER LINE,BUT I CANT GET THE SOLDER TO STICK.I USED SANDPAPER TO CLEAN THE PIPES AND ALSO USED FLUX.BUT THE SOLDER JUST RUNS OFF.
