    Hi Davie,
I know what you mean when you have a messy tree. But there is one big problem, if you till it it dosed take long before the tree drys out then the next big storm you may find a branch on your tree instead of sap.

The other thing is you will have to cut it down soon before it’s dead, which will cost $$$$ and if you leave it to long to cut down a tree remover want go near it because it will become to dangerous to work on.

This is just an idea to help stop the mess on your car and that is buy some of those sails. The one you see out side that is used for shade and tie them up over where you park your car. Sails look great when done properly and it might be a good compromise with your wife. Especially when you tell her that you admire the fact she wants to save trees and you dont want to see any harm come to her tree. I am sure you can sweet talk her, I know I am a woman.

    Hi,
Is your countertop timber? Because if it is you can buy timber putty to match the colour of your countertop. If the top is timber let me know and I will explain some tricks on how to make the putty blend in with the timber so you will hardly notice it.

    Hi Karen,
You can hook up your water filter to the fridge. I will try to cut a long story short. I live in Sydney Autralia and a few years back Sydney had a big water scare. In water tests they found traces of Crypto Spiridum and Guardia, in other words dangerous tiny organisns in the water. So as you can imagine water filter sales went through the roof.

Well me being me.. I wasn’t going to miss out on ice in my drinks and the filter in the fridge wasn’t doing to do the job.
So I bought a water filter and hooked it up.

I am sure water filters are much the same as ours here. The water filter you have now dose it go to its own tap at the sink because if so you will need to buy a three way value from the filter shop so you get water to the fridge and the filter tap. At the back of the fridge you will see a skinney black hose which lets water into the fridge. On your water filter you have a “water in side” and a “water out side” my filter uses a yellow hose for in and blue hose for out. You may need to buy a couple of meters of blue hose so its reaches the fridge. Cut the blue hose about 50cm down the filter put the three way valve on it.
Put the black fridge hose on one side and the filter tap on the other side. So what you have is the water coming out of the filter being split two ways one to fridge and the other to the tap.

I am not very good at explaining things. If you have an e-mail I will take a photo of the back of the fridge and send it to you so you can see what I mean.

    Hi,

This is just an idea I thought of and you may think I am silly for thinking of it, but it just might work. Get one or maybe even two car jacks and place a long solid piece of timber on them and place it under the house and jack up the corner till its a little above level. Dig a hole and put a new support post in with quick set concrete. When the concrete is set lower the house down onto the post.
Hope my idea helps you out

Hi, I have just repaired a large hole is my family room and I got it completely smooth.
I did what you did by puttin a patch behind it but there is no need to use drywall tape. If you can pull the tape off and fill in were the tape was. Then when its dry you can sand it smooth with the rest of the wall.

    Hi there,
Depending how bad it is. This is really good for cover up jobs, and that is good old white-out or liquid paper that you use to cover up spelling mistakes, as you know it comes in a small bottle with its own brush or a pen like thing that comes out the tip of it. I have uesd it myself when I have messed up my own painting and it works. Hope it helps you out.

    Hi Cheryl,
I have been trying to ring my brother in Perth and he has not been answering, but last night I finely got hold of him and did he have a story to tell me. Perth had a large electrical storm and lighting hit his phone line and blow up his answering machine and main phone line. As bad as it sounded I couldn’t stop laughing. Don’t worry about how long its takes to get the photos because I’m guessing you are going to clear that timber wall out of the way before you can take some pictures. Don’t forget my home e-mail address is noeleneramsay@hotmail.com
I use that account because I can receive large files eg. photos.
    talk soon regards Noelene

    Hi there,
If the moss has grown thick scrape it of with a paint scraper. Then being very carful spray bleach directly on to the moss,
you made need to do it a couple of times but it dose work. Liquid pool chlorine will do the same job.

When its dry hose down. But be carful if you have garden around use lots of water. If your porch is prone to moss some time in the furture you will need to do it again.
But is dose last a long time before you need to repeat it.

    Hi
Have your thought of putting in two shower heads, one at each end. One shower head to be fixed and the other to be hand held. The hand held makes easily work when it comes to cleaning. But make sure the plumber installs there own separate hot and cold taps. Noelene

    Hi
I forgot to ask what colour carpet does she have. Because lets say for example she has grey carpet with dark blue flets in it.

Fabric colour it with gray then when its dry get a permanent felt tip dark blue marker and make blue flecks to match in with the rest of the carpet.
