ParticipantI fired up my compressor and put 90 psi through the drain…then I removed the cover. Sure enough, there were chunks of rust that were probably partially blocking the drain. I made sure the drain was clear, then replaced the cover and all seems well for now…

ParticipantI have the upflow series with the blower motor on the bottom of the unit. All my ducts are in the attic. There is a silver “box” sitting on top of the unit.
I am assuming this is where the coils are???
Is it possible the unit is freezing up and the water is a result of thaw? I always thought that the A/C quit working when a unit freezes… Mine has been blowing cold the whole time.
When we discovered the water last night, we checked the filter and (of course) it needed to be replaced. I turned the unit off, and after replacing the filter, turned the blower motor on for a couple hours. I still have water slowly dripping from the top of the unit this morning.
Again, I am left with my original questions…

ParticipantI’m in Louisiana. The Rel. Humidity as we ‘speak’ is 74%. I don’t know what it was yesterday or the day before but it hasn’t rained in a couple days.

ParticipantMy wife and I purchased a 40 year old house that had beautiful hardwood floors. Of course, these floors were under a layer of carpet, padding, floor tile, and tar. We had to rent a floor sander (with 20 grit paper) and a Router (same grit) and it took us several days to get that stuff up. Then we stained and sealed the floors. Looks absolutely beautiful. Worth the effort. Even if you have to pay someone else.

ParticipantI went to Lennox online and downloaded the owners manual in .pdf and it was useless. No troubleshooting tips at all. I bought this house 1 1/2 years ago and this unit was already here. Supposedly it is only four years old. Well, now it would be 5 1/2 years old…
