Good intentions by the moderator but the model shown in the link supplied by doug is not the model the original poster has…You may find yours by searching the delta web-site. erik

You may save money in the long-run by calling a pro. Delta if not worked on for a long time can become “stuck” and in trying to remove the “crown-nut” one can very easily do non-repairable damage. (twisting the valve inside the wall) At that point the water must be shut off to the whole house until the complete tub/shower control valve is replaced inside wall/tile. erik

Do yourself a favor and get the tub professionally (re-painted}. Be aware that this coating will last only so long and will eventually need to be re-painted again. There are a few companies that will actually remove the old porcelain and apply new but this typically costs more than a new reproduction tub and is inconvenient. Do it yourself kits will only make a mess and you will end up hiring a pro to redo your effort. erik

Most mobile homes have cpvc or quest systems (plastic). Quest has been involved in many law suits concerning their product. Most people after repairing multiple leaks in the Q system re-pipe the mobile home. Parts are also difficult and its very common for techs to mix systems with different kinds of plastic pipe and fittings….make sure you hire someone with mobile home experience…..

There are no blades in a disposal…most have a macerator in the form of two spinning pieces of metal (not sharp)that sling the debris to the side serrated walls. Ice cubes simply keep the unit clean by removing the food residue from the interior of the unit. erik

expansion and contraction of hot water flowing through the pipes…this can happen on both the hot water pressure lines and when the hot water is released from the lavatory into a cold drain line….erik

youve got a leak in the concrete-slab, not unusual that the water is not obvious….hire a “leak-detection” company that specializes in locating these leaks and then decide whether to “repair” existing system or repipe the structure.
