My house has built-in yankee gutters in very poor condition (leaky and or missing lining, missing brackets) I have to replace the roof very soon and wonder if they are worth saving, versus putting up new copper half rounds.

How would I find how to restore Yankee Gutters to my 1907 Ceder Shingle Style house? Right now there are metal gutters nailed into the remaining wood and of course are pulling right out. It also affects the look of the roof line since the original wood gutter is removed.
