      hello,

      we are wanting to remove our gas hot water heater to another place. we’re going to install new cabinets in our kitchen and where the heater is at, it’s in a closet that could be use for storage are even enlarge the kitchen a bit. would this be a wise thing to do? and how could we go about doing this safe and efficient? thank you

      The safe and eficient way to alter combustion equipment is to hire a professional plumber to do the job under the local code. They have already learned and confronted the dangers and problems and won’t repeat them from ignorance.

      Water heater pilot light will not stay lit. It lights easily enough but doesn’t stay lit for any length of time.
