We just remodeled and without thinking it through, we installed an electrical box for a ceiling fan directly in the center of a 10 ft. vaulted ceiling at the peak between two joists. How can I hang said fan/light since the mounting ring won’t fit flush – due to the angle of the ceiling on both sides.
Get a block of wood cut to the celings dimentions. Mount that on the celing and then the fan to the block of wood. Paint the wood the same color as the celing and you wont even see it. Remembering the block,fan all hang from the installed box.
