tv with no picture

My tv will play the sound, but there is not picture when I play a video on this built in Daewoo TV/VCR. Only black and white snow. It seems as though it is not on the right channel (3). Any ideas

Is there a picture if it is on an cable/air station, just not when you play a tape? If so, try a different tape that you know is working and has something recorded on it. If it still won’t work try a VCR head cleaner cassette. They are available in lots of stores. Follow the instructions with the cleaner.

record your own tape on the daewoo…see if it works.

if it does it’s the tape….if it doesn’t it’s the vcr

at the risk of advising the obvious, sounds like your tracking is off. I assume you know how to adjust your tracking.
