I just had a tongue and grove porch put on It was only primed so far. A rain strom came and it started to leak in between the boards. Wil this stop when i paint it or do I have to put a sealer on It. If I must put a sealer on it what kind of sealer do I use.
Tongue and Groove exterior floor construction is not waterproof, and likely will never be waterproof no matter what primers, paints or sealers you place upon it.
If you were looking to waterproof an area below the porch using tongue & groove you used the wrong material, were mislead or misunderstood the lack of waterproofing ability that tongue and groove wood can provide.
