Hi I purchase a 130 yr old twin victorian.THe previous owner spent alot of time covering over problems.I have textured paint throughout the house . Some of it is really caked on heavy and is starting to fall off.Is there an easy way to remove textured paint and have the normal dryall or plaster walluseable again or is it easier to re drywall the area. Thanks Jim

but soo many times its cheaper and less manual labor to re drywall with 1/4 inch rock and this being so thin will not upset your molding and sockets. Its an alternative and one that lets you wipe the slate clean and start over.
