Saw this demonstrated on HGTV. They were looking for color too, you could do just white. Just add a big glob of Wall spakling in paint Roller Pan. They added by the tabelspoon, like 6-8 tablespoon of dif paint colors on top of this glob. Then used the paint roller only to just partial mix paint into the spakling. Then using a very heavy nap paint roller, just roll it on, you can sort of control the density and how much texture you desire.
I would experiment on somthing else, b4 you apply it to the wall, just to see how it works etc.
