Suggestions to cover porcelain

Hello,
I need to coat an old barbers chair that is made of porcelain. It’s for my Father and he doesn’t want to use paint?? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions!

I thing that you should contact a firm that refinishes antique bathroom fixtures such as pedestal lavs and bathtubs. They probably could refinish the enamel surfaces of the barbers chair.
