GuestIf the floor is still ‘moving’, no matter what you do to level it, it will keep ‘moving’. You need to fix the cause of the wet floor.

GuestI’ve filled in an 18′ x 36′ pool and am going to build a steel storage building over the site. I’ve left approx 6″ from the top of the pool sides and am wondering how long I should let the dirt settle and what grade cement to use and if I should use rebar or other strengthener? Also, is a 4″ base over the steel sides of the pool enough for a footing for a steel building?

Guestwe are trying to finnish our basement, there is a bathroom and our washer and dryer and laundry sink are right off the bathroom. Their is a drain in the floor(in concrete) as well as a dip that leads to it. we are trying to make a bedroom in the basement as well as keeping the bath and the laundry and a small office. How do we accomidate for the drain as well as putting in a sub floor?
