starting a appliance repair business

my husband and i want to start our own appliance repair service.

what do we need to start?

we want to move to an area we want to live in. tired of being forced to live in cities.

we know the tools we need but what about all the paper work and licenses? what do we need?

my husband has always been an employee and wants to start his own business.

A good place to start is to take a look at your paycheck and learn everything it takes to make up that paycheck. Learn all about federal and state taxes and how many hours you can devote to your business per day at what hourly rate so you can make a living and not go bankrupt in 3 years as most beginners. Each state has business groups that provide such advice. You will be competing directly with Sears, GE and other appliance repair businesses.
