What is the best way to smooth out Silicone caulk.
I know for Latex caulk, I just dip my finger in water and run it along the crack, seam, corner, etc…
Same principle as with latex, but use alcohol rather than water.
What ever the clean-up is would be the way. A smooth rag and mineral spirits is usually the way people do it.
Why are you using silcone. You can use latex/silicone “Poly Seamseal” for just about everything. Silicone is a mess, it stinks in a house for months, and it cannot be painted
