Ronda, it depends on your countertop material. For a laminate material like Formica, I would use a new, single-edged razor blade in a holder. There are solvents for Superglue, but they are likely to damage the laminate themselves. You want to hold the razor blade at a low angle and try to get the blade under the glue and over the countertop.

If you have something like Corian on your counters, I believe that I would also use the razor blade for this, to start, and finish by polishing and buffing.

If you have another material, let us know what it is.

Check with the Mfg’d website. Most “superglues” can be removed with acetone (it’s not in most nail polish removers anymore.) Have you tried to test an edge with a razor. It may lift, but some of the glues may actually dissolve the top layer and form a bond, in which case……………. fagettaboutit!
