Need help!. Where can I get information on revarnishing oak stairs. do not want to restain, just revarnish. stairs are in good condition. the finish is wearing off
I have pulled up carpet on stairs and have unfinished oak; have pulled out nails and staples and plan to rent a floor edge sander. What do I need to know to do a good job? Do I fill in holes before or after sanding. Is a water based urethane okay to use?
