We are taking the radiators out of our house – built before 1917 – and we were wondering if there is any market for them. Some are kind of neat looking.
The only real market is in the scrap iron, and that’s not much. Tall free standing rads are heavy, cumbersome, and less efficient then baseboards. They probably will sit around a long time, before you found a buyer.
I’m in Maryland, and would love to have them. My house was built in 1865, and all of the old ones have been removed. We’d like to have them just for looks.
