We’re in the same boat, but after reviewing the heating effect of the covers we are going to sand blast the paint off and paint with metal radiator paint to leave a bright finish. Dull paint with covers waste tons of money. We are building front faces that are 8 inches off the floor and have an oak frame with metal grid fronts, but no top – only using where we need a block from the front – good luck. David
Tom – You may want to think about building your own. There was an artice in the Nov-Dec 1996 (pg 12-17) issue of “American How-To” magazine.
