      I have a question about staining or painting ceramic floor tiles. I bought a light color of tile and my husband installed them. After living in my house for almost two years now I hate the light color. Can the tiles be stained or painted a darker color?

      I am not a pain expert, however I do know a few .

      Take one of your tiles ( if you have an extra one ) to a sherwin williams store. they will be able to help you. There are several finishes and textures in ceramic and porcelain tiles. if they can take a look at the tile its self, I am sure they can fix you right up.

      I have a basket-weave style 1920’s porcelain tile floor in my bathroom and I am considering restoration rather than replacement and have a few questions:

      How can rust be removed from a porcelain tile floor?

      With what material can you “regrout” a porcelain tile floor.

      How do I locate a contractor in my area that does this type of restoration.
