GuestSue,
There’s several products available commercially.
Check with a local wall coverings dealer as well as the
folks at Home Depot (the knowledge-base available there
is excellent and free!).Regards, Ron Hawtree
P.S. WD-40 might work, too.

GuestHow do I paste my wallpaper to my paneling without the lines in the paneling sucking in the wallpaper. Do I use liner paper, spaculing and primer or what.

GuestI am purchasing a large wallpaper mural, and instead of applying it directly to the wall, I would like to put it on a sheet of plywood (for the purpose of easy removal and re-selling the mural someday).
I have no experience hanging wallpaper. Does anyone see a problem with applying a wallpaper mural to plywood (or MDF), if the surface is properly prepared and primed?
Thanks! -

GuestAfter removing the wallpaper in my foyer, I discovered that the wall underneath is uneven and brittle/peeling in small areas. Is mudding and sanding over most of the wall (and some of the really stuck on glue) acceptable, if I intend to paint the wall?

GuestCan someone please tell us if it is possible to wallpaper over paneling without puting primer on the paneling first. I was told the only reason for the primer is to be able to strip the paper later when wanting to replace it in the future. I thought it had more to do with the making the wallpaper stick to the paneling though? What would be the result if the paneling was wallpapered over without using primer first?
