I have a broken overhaed kitchen hood fan. It was a 120V 60Hz and 1.0amps. The only replacments I can find ask for .80amps or a different fan that takes 1.15amps. Will either of these fans work?

If you’re anywhere close to the maximum recommended vent length, you’d probably be best going with the larger one although it may be slightly noisier. I’m sure the control switch which is used should be able to handle the minimal increase in load.

If air movement is not critical (like in a recirculating model), you may be able to get away with the smaller one.
