      have a hotpoint under cabinet unit.2yrs old .all of the sudden does not heat things. no warning. is there a reset or a fuse internal

      yes it has a fuse inside. try replacing it. if it blows again right away scrap the unit and get a new one. be very careful to unplug it while it is open and make sure you put the cover back on before you start it back up.

      Just does not heat or is completely dead?

      Microwave ovens do have an internal fuse but if it was open, the whole unit (including the display) would be completely dead, it would not just stop heating.

      If the internal fuse is open, it would have to be replaced as it is not resetable.
