** i have a kenmore washer **
Sears has sold many, many different models and designs of Kenmore clothes washers over the years. The only way for us to find out which on your have is if you post its complete model number.

** i cant wash or rinse in cold water. i have cleaned the hoses and still no cold water but if i disconnect the hose from washer it runs great to a bucket **
There could be a problem with the cold side of the water fill valve on the washer. It could be plugged internally or just defective. There is also a possibility that the temperature control selector switch could be defective.
