I have a Kenmore Coldspot which was recently given to me. It is about 5 years old. The freezer works fine but the fridge part does not cool. I checked the freezer to see it any part of it was frozen (esp beneath the bottom of the freezer) but there seems to be no problem. any ideas? also any idea where I can find an owners manual?

      ** I have a Kenmore Coldspot **

Sears has sold numerous Kenmore refrigerators over the years. The only way for us to know which model you have is if you post its complete model number.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances in the ‘Repair Parts’ section of my web site linked at the bottom of this message.

BTW. I didn’t think Sears has used the “Coldspot” name in years.

You can read about possibilities for that at the following link:

Each possibility would have to be inspected/tested for one at a time until the cause in your case is found.

Sears. Unfortunately they have no download service so you’ll likely have to order a paper copy.

      JFYI
