How do i pull up old carpet tack strips

I am trying to replace the carpet with wood flooring. what is the easiest way to pull up the tack strips from the floor?

These are usually pretty easy to remove using any thin pry-bar. Just tap the pry bar under using a hammer and pop it free.

put the short end at the point between the floor and tack strip and hit it with the hammer.will go fast that way.
