How do I make new wood look old and grey?

How do I make new (unfinished) wood (or freshly-exposed wood) look at least grey, if not weathered?

If you have the time, city water will turn a new fence or deck grey quickly.

Just keep spraying city water on the project. The chemicals like, floride, clorine and others turn the wood fast.

If this process is too slow, then they do sell a grey stain weather look. I believe that the Flood company sells it.
