I was in home improvement retail for 10 years, and dealt with countless suppliers for this sort of item. Unfortunately, I live in British Columbia, so I can’t help you with a supplier in your area. I can tell you that almost all wholesale plumb/heat outfits have guidlines for who they will sell to (retail stores, contractors). If it is low price you are looking for, you will be hard pressed to find a dealer that will sell to you for less than full retail price. They must protect their customers. Your best hope is to find a plumber that will buy you a furnace for his invoice cost plus $100.00. Just a quick transaction with no handling for him. Ethical? Who knows. I’d do it if I was a plumber.
