I have red oak floors in a recently purchased house from 1972. I pulled up the carpet in one room and found the floors to be scratch free. Do I need to re-sand and polyurethane, or can I get by w/ a cleaning then a couple of coats of poly, or s/d I just clean? The surface does look a little dull but not bad overall.

Your better off going the whole nine yards on this. The poly tuchup and cleaning won’t come close to a newley sanded floor. Was there done that and then done it right. Good luck

I work for a rental company with many people wanting to use floor sanders. I would like to purchase the easiest to use, best to handle for the average person, and that has a dust bag. Any recommendations?
