Fireplace Inserts

I purchased a Wood burning fireplace insert that has a built in blower. How do I install my insert into my pre-existing regular fireplace?

I installed one 4 years ago. I live in northern Michigan.. I needed to buy a stainless steel flue liner @ over $25.00/ft. (it came in 25 ft lenghts) and a termination kit for atop the chimney. I had to dis-connect the damper so it would open far enough to slide the 6″ liner thru and connect the liner to the top of the insert. installed the liner termination kit, put on the trim including the fireproof insulation. made sure things were level and straight and lit a fire….
