The problem is that the two heaters controlled by a single thermostat will not come on. The thermostat has been replaced. Yet the only way to get the heaters to come on is to raise the temp way high. At that point the heaters come on for about 2 maybe 3 minutes at the most then shut down. HAs anyone encountered a similar problem, if so what was the cause/fix. Thanks Tom E

Don’t hesitate to call in a professional to check this out. Failure to do so could lead to fire. Turn the breaker off now, and get ahold of a licensed electrician.

If it worked before the t/stat was replaced, I would try another t/stat. Make sure you have the right voltage t/stat. Electric baseboard heaters come in 120v and 240v.
