      i have a interior brick wall i want to cover over with drywall. how would i attach the drywall to the brick? any answers?

      this is most commonly done by either nailing furring strips to the brick wall, allowing you to attach the drywall, or to build a stud wall against the brick wall and hang drywall in the usual manner. If there are door or window openings in the wall, then the furring strip method probably would be the best method to use.
