Riverhawk, thanks for asking…..I looked at the one at Menards, but decided against it because it looked like it would have to be lined up perfectly in order to maintain the seal, and the fact that it is “glued” to the bottom of the toilet. The drain pipe for my toilet comes up at a slight angle, and I was afraid it would break the “glued” seal.
I ended up at Home Depot (80 miles away) and purchased the one by Fluidmaster. Since it has 2 flexible seals, I think it will handle the slight misalignment.
I just finished my taxes this evening, and will tackle the toilet replacement tomorrow night or this weekend. I’ll let you know how it went.
