      Could you point me in the right direction on distressing brick? I am purchasing an older home
      and am not in love with the color of the brick. I would like to distress the brick to make it look
      “whitish” in areas like some of the original morter was left on. Any ideas on where I can get some infor-
      mation on this?

      simply painting doesn’t help — what would the easiest way be to chesel away at the corners beore I paint it. How much of a pain in the neck am I getting myself into??? thanks for you help.
