dishwasher wont drain

i recently bought and installed a new whirlpool dishwasher motor ! now the pump wont drain the waste water out !i was told this particular motor reverses the pump from fill to drain ! any help ? thanks

Hang on, Harold can assist you I am sure. There are no knock out plugs that need removing are there? Like the ones in a garbage disposal for the diswasher hookup?

I jsut bought a house. It came with a dishwasher. Everything seems to work fine except when finished, there is still some dirty wter at the bottom of the dishwasher (Inside). Any ideas?

help!!!!!!! – i have an inch of yuk water in bottom of dishwasher- the only thing different we have done recently is replace the garbage disposal- any relation? or do i just need to repair/replace my dishwasher????????
