      I have an existing 3-way switch. Can I replace one of the light switches with a dimmer switch?

      One…………..with a 3-way dimmer……….

      BEFORE disconnecting the old switch be sure to mark the common wire (attached to the dark screw)…………That’s the only tricky part here………

      But it must be a compatable 3-way dimmer switch.
