      There is an existing concrete patio that is quite old but sound. I want to lay 4″ of new concrete over the existing concrete.
      Anything I should be cautious of? The size of the patio is roughly 15X25. Suggestions on expansion strips. Winters can get down to 0 degrees.

      * I see no reason why you can’t. Perhaps a sheet of plastic over the old slab would be a good thing, moisture vapor. Good luck..
