There are 5 bedrooms…one closet. I would like to build a walk in closet in one of them. The ceilings are 10′. I don’t want inaccessible shelves way up there so am trying to decide if I should build the closet walls to the ceiling or not and either way how can I utilize the out of reach regions?
When I did it in our kids 160 year old house, I left the drywall open in the areas between the studs, framed in window openings and installed stained glass. A flourescent light in the closet offers a nice effect for the room.
