      I have put up corner pieces in all four corners of

      my bathroom, so that we did not have to miter the corners, now that we have done that, even the straight cuts leave gaps. What can I use to fill in the gaps? girasm@earthlink.net

      I used spackling when I did mine and it still looks good after 4 years. Spackling works good if painting, use wood putty if staining

      I would use a painters caulklike DAP’s Alex plus.

      this will allow for any expansion or contraction of the molding without cracking as spackle or wood filler tends to do. i used wood filer on new window installation and wound up removing the filler and using the caulk, no mor cracks
