got a room with indoor-outdoor carpeting and the backing is either glued or stuck from age(20yrs) to vinyl tiles. how do i get this off the tiles? scraping it off is taking forever and damaging some tiles. Any thoughts?
I assume that you have peeled the carpet up already and you are left with part of the backing and/or adhesive on the tile underneath. Have you tried using a heat gun to soften the material while you carefully scrape it up?
