I have a Belt Sander Model No. 315.22590 and would like to know how to clean to motor, which may mean taking out the motor from the case. It is not currently running, and I’ve cleaned everything except the motor. Has anyone had similar problems? Does anyone know anything about this model, its manufacturing year, and servicing tips?

I clean my sander occasionally by just blowing it throuoghly with my compressor. Have you removed the brushes in the motor to determine their condition? That may be the problem, and if so, it is usually a very simple task.
