my bathtub has water stop outside tub (it’s to

close to undersink cabinet) so cabinet is not

center under sink. i would like to remove

      the water stop/lever. i don’t really need

a water stop, just looking for space. any help??

      thank-you

I would keep the shut-off valve where it is, and offset the drain line for the vanity. You don’t want the vanity so tight up against your tub, where you will be preventing access to the valves and the waste and overflow drain. The “J” bend on your trap should allow at least 3 inches from center, so you might or might not get away with that.
