I would like to install an egress window in my poured concete basement. Anyone know of a “how to do it” book that covers this type of project?

Installing an egress window in a PC(poured concrete) foundation is not a Diy project. If it includes an escape well, even moreso not.

One of the major drawbacks to having a PC foundation is that they are not at all easily altered.

You need specialty equipment to cut thru the 6-8″ thick concrete foundation.

Cutting thru for a window also requires properly heading the new opening and properly supporting the structure above.

Installing an escape well requires (usually) excavation equipment and alteration of or installation of french drains.

Suggest you consult local professionals for details.
