I’m close to being done with installing an engineered hardwood floating floor. Soon I’ll need to attach three pieces of step-down trim molding to the concrete floor. I think nailing the trim to the concrete is out of the question. So I’ll most likely glue it down. Has anyone had experience with gluing trim molding to concrete? My concern is that there’s only about 1 inch of glue surface on the trim and it will be taking on a lot of foot traffic. I’d like to know what’s the best glue to use… or any other helpful suggestions. Thanks in advance.

When we glued down our floor (insteac of floating it) we used the same floor glue to hold down the threasholds and transitions.

Put some weight on them overnight and they aren’t going anywhere.
