I rewired a bedroom, sent a 3 wire from the box to a juntion box near the room, split it from there black wires for the recepticals and red for the lights. The both share the neutral wire. Arc fauult breaker to the black wire. Problem is, i cant have both breakers on at the same time. The arc fault trips as soon as both are turn on. I have no problem with having each one on by it self, just cant have both on at the same time?…
      Any Ideas?

If I have this right, you actually have a ground fault circuit interrupter, but have a shared common with another light circuit. Ground faults occur when current is leaking somewhere, in other words, electricity is escaping to the ground. By using a common that is shared with an unprotected circuit, the GFCI detects a fault and properly trips. You need to provide a dedicated ground and common on that circuit. Sharing neutrals is a dangerous shortcut on any circuit, and it will always cause a ground fault on a monitored circuit.
