have a 2 hp pancake compressor, it is suppose to shut off a 115psi, it does not. I have to manually shut it off. How do I fix, I do not have a manual. It is a chicago electric I purchased from harbor freight. I am a weekend warrior that uses it for air nailing.

      Thanks in advance.

Randy, you might call Harbor Freight and visiting one of the retail stores would be even better. They might have a pressure regulator available. If not, you might consider that the great price you got it for came with the downside of repair and parts availability problems.

randy, what you need is a new pressure shutoff switch, if the old one is built in or not accessable, get a new switch, install on the unregulated side of the compressor. next, is to cut the input cord and wire the cutoff between the motor and the power plug
