Fiberglass is easily painted with proper surface preparation. Think boats, cars, camper shells, whirlpool tubs, etc. The smooth surface is gel-coat often painted with a multi-part (basecoat, clearcoat) automotive system or even acrylics. Professional finishing is not inexpensive due to expensive materials and labor to prepare mask and spray. You might want to get estimates to determine if replacement is more attractive pricewise.
