Using floor

A big part of this depends on what was used on your floor. A flyer that I had handy from one of the water based polyurethane manufactures recommends light use after 8 hours and normal use after 72 hours. I think that I would let an oil based poly go for 24 hours for light use and 3-4 days for normal use.

If you saved one of the cans that the product used on your floor came in, or still have a bit left in a can, check the label on the can. That should give you all the information or give you a number to call the product’s manufacturer for specific instructions.
