toilet won’t drain

Hi, my name is John and I was wondering if you can help me solve a problem that I have with my toilet. Whenever I flush the toilet the water does not go down the drain. It acts like it’s clogged but it’s not. I tried plunging but didn’t work. I even uninstalled the toilet to run a snake through the drain in the ground. The drain wasn’t clogged at all. The water does eventually go down but very slowly, you have to wait a while. I can’t flush twice consecutively without it overflowing. I even checked the vent lines. It seemed to be unclogged. I am out of options. I tried everything. Can you please help me?
