MyPlumbingsupplierWhen replacing vinyl flooring in your bathroom with tile, you may need to add a spacer on the drain to accommodate the extra thickness of the new flooring. Depending on the thickness of the new tile and the way the original drain was plumbed in, you can use a PVC Closet Flange Spacer Ring on the drain. This is a very easy install and will cost you under $10.00 to purchase from a local supplier. Remember you will also need a new wax ring and new Johnny bolts to reinstall the toilet.
